They were all stunned. Until the suddenly-appeared Yuuya had called out to them, none of them but Cain had noticed him.

“Wha-, who are you!?”

Logsia and Lisabeth immediately got ready to fight, but Cain smiled.

“Yuuya-san!”

The two of them lowered their guards a little, assuming he was an acquaintance due to Cain calling out to him, and Cain then explained to them.

Having been leaning against the door, Yuuya uncrossed his arms and did a small wave in greeting.

“Long time no see. There was a reaction from That, so I came over cause I was worried, but since you were here, Cain, I decided to just watch.”

Ignoring Logsia and Lisabeth, Yuuya sat down opposite them on the sofa.

However, Logsia, as the empire’s Demon Emperor, became irritated at being completely ignored.

“Cain-dono… who is this person? Naturally, this imperial castle is the most highly-guarded place here. It would be bad if people could come in this easily…”

Yuuya looked at Logsia for a little, then smiled.

“So that was it. I guess I’ll introduce myself then. Nowadays, I’m Yuuya. Although in this world, I guess I should call myself Yuuya Esfort? I’m a different world’s Creator. Nice to meet’cha.”

Yuuya answered casually, making Logsia and Lisabeth freeze at his words.

“––Cain-dono… I have a question… I think I heard ‘Esfort’ and ‘Creator’?”

“Ah. That’s right. Yuuya-san is the Hero summoned three-hundred years ago, who later founded the Kingdom of Esfort and became its first king. Apparently he’s the Creator of a world called Fabinir nowadays.”

Even Logsia believed in gods. While he couldn’t publicly believe in them, as he was one of the country’s higher-ups, he knew of the existence of the gods.

Creators were the ones who created worlds. Even if he wasn’t the Creator of this world, he had to be worshipped –– no, they never even appeared in front of people in the first place.

So, one of them appearing in front of them and casually greeting them with the wave of a hand was, to the two of them, unbelievable.

Logsia and Lisabeth both quickly stood up, then knelt down, pressing their heads on the floor.

“I had not known you were a Creator-sama… Please excuse my rudeness. I am Logsia, the current Demon Emperor.”

“I am his younger sister, Lisabeth. It is an honour to meet you.”

Cain involuntarily chuckled at the two’s responses.

“You two, I doubt Yuuya-san cares about such things…”

“Cain… No, this is the normal reaction. You’re just special.”

While when they had first met, Cain had indeed used Japanese-specific honorifics out of a sense of familiarity, as even if there was the difference of being summoned to reincarnated, they were both Japanese people, he hadn’t been overly formal.

Actually, while Cain spoke casually even with this world’s Creator, Zenom, he took more care around the people of this world.

The two of them sat down as Yuuya had told them to, but their faces were still taut from nervousness.

“Then, I guess I’ll explain about what happened earlier.”

Yuuya began speaking about what happened in the past.

Cain had already heard it once before. The other two listened intently to the recounting of the past. Cain also did the same, as there were many things he hadn’t known.

“Well, that’s about all I can tell you…”

Finishing his explanation, Yuuya leaned back on the sofa.

“Thank you very much. It was very helpful. I am grateful just to have met a Creator-sama, but to even be allowed to listen to a story from one… But still –– you seem to have known Cain-dono for a long time.”

The relationship between Yuuya and Cain didn’t seem like one between a Creator and an ordinary person at all. Their relationship where they acted like normal friends confused Logsia and Lisabeth.

And Logsia only had one answer to that question.

“––––Cain-dono… are you perhaps –– a god? No, are you an Apostle?”

“……”

Cain did not answer. His Status said he was an Apostle of the Gods, and as a demigod, he had already entered the realm of the gods himself. However, Cain, who wanted to live as relaxed a life as possible, had no intentions of acknowledging that fact.

“Ah, Cain’s a special case. Then again, the guy’s already equivalent to a god.”

“Yuuya-san!!”

Cain wanted to complain to Yuuya about having said it so easily, but he currently wouldn’t even be able to touch him.

The gaze Logsia sent towards Cain at Yuuya’s words was full of expectation.

“I knew it. No, it would be better if you did not say it. I would like to thank you again. Thank you very much.”

Logsia bowed deeply, making Cain scratch his cheek.

“Well, just rely on Cain if you’re in trouble then. I’ve done what I wanted to, so I’m going home now. Cain, come hang out once in a while, will you.”

“Honestly… I’ll go hang out then.”

Yuuya stood up, and, with the words ‘See ya’, disappeared on the spot.

Now that there were only three of them in the room, Logsia and Lisabeth’s tension finally undid itself, and they sipped their now slightly cold black tea to moisten their throats.

“Say, Cain. You are an Apostle of the Gods, aren’t you?”

Lisabeth, who had been silent, finally spoke. Cain didn’t know how to explain, but he had already been exposed as having a friend-like relationship with Yuuya, a Creator, and they also knew he didn’t have the strength of a normal person either.

Glancing at Lisabeth, Cain nodded silently.

“Huhu, really. So that was it.”

Lisabeth crossed her arms in front of her chest, smiled, and nodded to herself many times as if convinced.

“Lisa. I’m happy for you. No one will be able to complain about your partner now. I will also happily accept it.”

“Thank you very much, big brother.”

Cain tilted his head in confusion, not knowing the exact meaning behind the two’s conversation.
