Garm asked Cain, while smiling bitterly that his son had caused trouble again. His son already had three fiancées, and now there was talk of him being given a fourth one in the name of diplomacy.
Moreover, with what Lisabeth had said, she might have guessed that Cain had some kind of relation to Yuuya, the Kingdom of Esfort’s founder and first king.
“Back there was the first time I heard of a marriage too, so… Nothing, for the time being. I’ll be summoned to the reception room again, probably.”
“Yeah, that’s probably going to happen. See, they’re already waiting.”
Where Garm was looking, there was a servant standing next to a door.
It was the servant who always guided Cain to the reception room, and it was easy to guess that he was waiting for Cain.
As they walked up to the door, the servant lowered his head deeply and said, “His Majesty is waiting for you, I will show you in.”
Garm was also being summoned at the same time, and the two of them walked behind the servant.
The servant knocked on the reception room’s door, and after having received permission to enter, opened the door and stepped aside.
“This way, please.”
Garm and Cain entered the room, where the king, Duke Eric, Magna, and Lisabeth were already sitting.
“Lisa, you’re here too then.”
“Yes, there were some things I couldn’t talk about earlier.”
Lisabeth was back to speaking as she usually did, not like the diplomatic language she used back at the audience.
“Well, you two sit down too. There’s a lot I want to ask you.”
Prompted by the king, the two of them sat down.
“First, I would like to ask the two of you. Do you really want to marry each other? Cain is marrying Telestia too. You’ll be like relatives.”
“I, wish to marry him. Anything else matters not.”
“Lisabeth-dono says so, but Cain, what will you do?”
“I… think Lisabeth is an attractive girl. That said, if you tell me so suddenly…”
“Cain, we have even slept together. You should just give up.”
The king frowned at Lisabeth’s words.
“Cain, what is the meaning of this…?”
Cain had indeed slept together with Lisabeth once just after he had hidden her in Drintor. Although even if one said they had slept together, they had literally only slept in the same room. Lisabeth had just been freed from slavery back then, and Cain had given her permission out of mindfulness.1

The king and the others knew that Cain was a reincarnated person. However, they hadn’t known that he had lived in the same world as the founder and first king Yuuya. Even though they found out that he was a reincarnated person when he was able to read the book written by Yuuya back when he was young.
“The ‘Creator of a Different World’ I have a blessing from is Yuuya-san. He has jurisdiction over a different world, and comes to this one from time to time, which was when I met him. He also appeared out of nowhere the other day during that attack incident in the Benestos Empire…”
Cain stopped speaking, and the king fell into thought, frowning
Time flowed past for several minutes with all of them silent, then the king looked at Lisabeth.
“Lisabeth-dono. I’ll allow you to marry Cain. He has multiple fiancées, and his first wife will be my daughter, Telestia, so I hope you are all right with that.”
“That is not a problem. My aim is to marry Cain. I do not care about the order. I’m friends with Teles and Silk already anyway.”
“Then, no problem. The Kingdom of Esfort and the Benestos Empire will form an alliance. Magna, you deal with the announcement, please.”
“Understood. I will make the arrangements.”
Cain was relieved that everything had ended like this, but there was no way he could just go home.
“…Cain. How about it? Won’t you be king?”
The king asked with a serious gaze, but Cain’s answer was already decided.
“I politely refuse.”
“You are Cain after all. Ahahahaha. Well, I don’t blame you. We’ll do the rest, so you just go home.”
“Then, please excuse me. Lisa, let’s go, shall we.”
“Yes. Then, Your Majesty, I shall also excuse myself.”
With being a messenger to the Benestos Empire, the new towns and cities as well as territory in the future, Cain wondered whether this was too much work for someone not even grown up yet.
He had been given permission to decide when he went to school for himself, but he just wanted to live a peaceful school life with Teles, Silk, and Liltana.
The king and the others had more discussions to do, so Cain and Lisabeth left the reception room, and, getting into a carriage, returned to the mansion.

Ok we can reasonably guess he is going to have at least ten wives as that is the number of rooms for brides in his Castle. Oh and that Sword God bit in his stats is a translation error, as earlier it was mentioned that he had become a Sword Saint just like his fiancee Tefala I hope I spelled her name right but they keep putting it down as Sword God. I have not seen Sword Saint written since. As the author doesn’t have the stats Cain does he really can’t emulate that very well in writing so let’s give him a break and just try to enjoy the story.

That’s probably from Yuuya’s friend, after Cain’s training in Yuuya’s world where he formed a contract with the divine wolf fenrir and dragon.

That was when he was training with Yuuyu. It was listed but Cain didn’t notice it back then but that was the guy who gave Cain to contract with Gin (since that person was Gin’s father?).

What does maxed intelligence even do at that point. Why does maxed strength not show on his body? He must look ridiculously ripped undernesth those clothed. This is the gripe i have about stat screens, they lose all meaning in terms of power fantasy, i am sure he maxed since 60chapters ago.

Ok, there have been numerous contradictions in the story recently m it is unbelievable. In early chapters, the king, prime minister, Duke Eric and Garm were informed by Cain that he reincarnated from Japan, which was proved when he read a book Yuuya wrote, which was p, of course, in Japanese. Recently, they were surprised by Cain’s connection to Seto, even though they were informed by the one who taught summoning at the academy that he had, and they even brought him to the palace to explain, and recognized Seto as the Demon King, when Cain talked about Darmeshia, and were shocked that Cain hired the Demon King’s former general. There are others, but I don’t want to list them all. I don’t blame the translator, but I am wondering if the author has ever heard of consistency of the plot and continuity of the story.

Once again the author has dementia. Didn’t Cain already tell the king about Yuuya right after he came back from meeting him? He also showed them his status then but I guess that didn’t happen either. Now Cain is acting like Lisa is proposing for the first time like she didn’t do just that literally 10 chapters back. A1 writing man.

Yes and no, she did ask him to marry her, but he was never told about the marriage being a condition for the alliance with the demon empire. As for Yuuya, they knew Cain met him, but not all the other details.

No. They knew that he had become a demigod whose status was immeasurable after the Demon King summoning incident at the academy, because he had to show the king, Duke Eric, the prime minister and Glatt of the Ministry of Magic his status when he was summoned to the palace over summoning a demon king. Duke Eric actually laughed about Cain becoming a god, Glatt started praying to him, the prime minister worried uf he should change how he addresses Cain and the king asked if Cain would destroy the world.

Because the author is incredibly dumb and doesn’t know how to write a story where the main character is intelligent, let alone super-god-level-intellect. Every one of these baby-level events he deals with would be solved long before they even happened if he was as intelligent as his stats suggest.
Also he’d never need to use magical reinforcement on his body. His skin should be so resistant that meteors would bounce off of him back to space. He should be so fast and agile that he could dance between raindrops and teleport by walking speeds alone. He should be so magically powerful that things are randomly enchanted just by being around him too long. He should be so strong that he has to live like Superman – careful not to break everything around him.
He’s skilled at literally every possible thing, yet doesn’t DO anything except laze around, really. Isekai taught me that all Japanese are incredibly lazy and only work because they’re forced to. Which is wack because I’ve lived in Japan and I know that’s not true.
So basically, Cain is so OP that the author can’t keep up and doesn’t know how to write a story to handle that while also displaying Cain’s strengths adequately.
That’s what all this harem-building is. It’s just filler to block out the fact there’s no real plot.

Because usually, Intelligence doesn’t mean intellect in games???? Their power follows a level system just like in games where Intelligence usually refers to the amount of mana they have. The higher the intelligence stat is, the higher amount of mana they have
Come on, although you are technically right, you guys basically ignorant. Still doesn’t change the fact the author is dumb tho. The same as HP count where it increases as Strength increases.

On a serious note, historically, very high IQ isn’t always a good thing. It often ends with people either getting totally disconnected, or being extremely contempt towards others, who they find as “too stupid to interact with”, and thinking about themselves as more than regular humans, hence entitled to not be bound by trivial things like morals and human-made laws.
There was this pretty good episode of House MD about a guy who chugged cough syrup to dumb himself down, because he was a super-genius, and it just right to bring his IQ down to human levels, so he could actually be happy and interact with his girlfriend without unintentionally treating her as a halfwit for not understanding the nuclear fusion reactor blueprint he happened to be absent-mindedly scribbling at the moment.

Haaaa, yeah, that chapter 7 anomaly is weird. My best guess at the author’s / Cain’s thought process there is that Cain can argue that chapter 7 doesn’t count, since he was tricked into it after Lisa lied to him, but the time in Drintor can’t be dodged if she insists, since that time he was in Esfort and fully aware of the traditions and customs applying.
His get out attempt for the time in Drintor is limited to claims of guarding her or providing trauma treatment, but there’s no way he’d get away with that.
On the other hand, if she tries to push using the time in chapter 7 then she also needs to be prepared for the backlash if he gives them the full story, it really wouldn’t reflect well on her, so she would probably want to avoid bringing it up too much and planned to use it only against her brother.
But damn that’s a lot of implied plot and logical jumping, if that is the author’s intent.
Personally, I want to know when he’s going to get permission to fess up some of his stats to Teles and Silk. He’s got 2 fiancées in the know already, and it would probably make his life easier if the other 2 weren’t worrying about him as much. At least Teles being given rank over Lisa should relax her a little, reasonably cementing her position even if the other candidates get approved.
